Redbreast 12-Year-Old is a rich, full-bodied Irish whiskey crafted at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork. Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in copper pot stills, before maturation in first ex-bourbon American Oak and finally ex-Oloroso sherry Spanish oak butts.

The Redbreast 12 is a classic for a reason, it is a fine example of Irish pot still whiskey. A great choice for a broad range of people, but particularly those who like a sherried cask influence on a smooth dram.

Named after the lane upon which this brilliant Irish distillery first set up shop, this is a single-pot still whiskey with the traditional style of Powers. This whiskey is sweet, rich and full-bodied, great for old hats and new drinkers alike.

Powers John’s Lane is an excellent, traditional single-pot still Irish whiskey, aged for a dozen years in mostly ex-bourbon casks, before the addition of Oloroso sherry. The aroma is rich and fragrant, with notes of oak, leather, herbs and dried fruits.

The palate retains the dried fruit, with toasted spice, honey and vanilla leading into a fruity, spicy finish of cinnamon, vanilla and malt. A multiple gold winner in the pot still section of several competitions, this is a great choice for those seeking a sweet and robust whiskey of that style.
