The 10-Year-Old from Wolfburn is a complex and sophisticated Highland single malt. Aged solely in Oloroso sherry casks, it has a robust and intense flavour profile of sweet fruits, dessert spices, nuts, chocolate and vanilla.
This single malt has been aged for the full duration in Oloroso sherry casks. This is quite rare, not many whiskies see more than two years in a sherry cask. This has resulted in a strong flavour, but still approachable
As is standard with this distillery, no colours are added and it is non-chill filtered. The result is a gorgeous, sweet whisky that can be appreciated by new drinkers and connoisseurs alike, a great sherried single-malt.
70cl / ABV – 46%
Nose – Sherried fruits, vanilla, oak.

Wolfburn Aurora is a bold, yet sophisticated single malt from the Highlands of Scotland. This offering has the usual distinctive character of it's distillery, but is augmented perfectly with a sherry cask finish.
Aged first in ex-bourbon casks, before finishing life in Oloroso sherry casks, this Scotch still has the classic malt, oak and honey notes, but with a thick coating of sherry to add a spiced fruit and nut character, with a subtle vanilla flavour adding a layer of complexity.
As always with Wolfburn, this has no added colour and was not chill-filtered. I think this one can best be described as somewhere betwixt the original Northland and the 10-year-old in flavour. For some, it might be the perfect compromise.
70cl / ABV – 46%
Nose – Sherried fruit and nuts.
Taste – Sherry, spice, currants, raisins, vanilla, nuts.
Finish – Sweet and spicy sherry notes.
Price £47.90
Wolfburn Langskip, bottled at 58%, certainly deserves the respect you would usually afford a full-strength offering, but it's an alarmingly easy dram. If you fancy giving a higher-ABV whisky a try, this is for you.
This expression offers a bold and intense flavor profile, featuring notes of peat smoke, raisins, sultanas, syrup, dark chocolate, nuts and dessert spices, finishing warm and robust with toffee, caramel and a touch of vanilla. Its aroma is warm and pleasant, with hints of apples, fruitcake, nuts, malt and dessert spices.
This whisky is a true testament to Wolfburn's craftsmanship and their exploration of bolder flavours, making it an excellent choice for those who appreciate the robust and smoky notes of a well-crafted and distinctive single malt Scotch that leaves a lasting impression.

Wolfburn Morven is a lightly peated single-malt Scotch whisky crafted by the Wolfburn Distillery in the Highlands of Scotland. This expression starts with a delightful aroma of peat smoke, apple, white grape, vanilla and oak.
The palate has notes of raisins, malt, vanilla, apple and honey with a soft touch of sea salt and peat smoke for a deliciously well-rounded dram, followed by a lightly smoked finish of nuts, amber and ginger. This addition to the Wolfburn line-up of exceptional single-malts delivers the usual fruity and fragrant notes typical of the distillery, but the lightly peated twist sets it off very nicely.
This is an excellent choice for those who appreciate a well-balanced and flavourful Scotch whisky with a touch of smokiness and a comforting warmth, perfect for those curious about the world of peated malts.

Wolfburn Northland is what I would describe as a "classic" flavoured single malt. The flavours of malt and oak, the original flavours if you like, take centre stage with dried fruit, warm spice, honey and a soft smoky finish to round off for a beauty of a dram.
Aged in quarter casks for a more robust and intense flavour profile, the smaller casks give this whisky an edge due to the liquid-to-oak ratio. The quality is matched by the purity, as always with Wolfburn, there is no colour added and no chilled filtering in the process, allowing the more natural flavours to remain.
This highland malt has picked up several gold awards along it's way. The first offering from a brilliant distillery (a personal favourite of mine), this is not only one connoisseurs to surely delight in, those new to whisky will find this approachable, but still robust and full of character.
