ISLAY

SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

Why is Islay, another island after all, categorized as its own region? Those who have dipped their tasting toes into these waters know full well. Islay splits opinion like no other, its followers are devout, but Islay rarely produces a dram for the faint-of-heart. With peat smoke and sea salt as common flavours of the region, Islay makes no apologies for its bold and brash character.

The dispute for the King of Islay has raged for centuries between distilleries like Ardbeg and Lagavulin, producing whiskies that never disappoint, long may the war continue. Do you dare?
